Am I the right person to become a freelance worker?
There is no such thing as a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ person to become a freelance worker. We have a wide variety of clients with a wide variety of requirements. We are always looking for people from all backgrounds, and from different parts of the World. Looks and age are not always important. Like anything, the secret is not what your background is, or where you are from, but how much you want to succeed! We understand that the most successful freelance workers are usually regular down-to-earth people.

How do clients book freelance workers?
Clients register on the site and perform a search of our database of freelance workers. When a suitable match is found the client will contact the you through the secure online messaging facility with details of there requirements.

You should contact the client to confirm or reject the booking. If a booking needs to be canceled please give as much time as possible so that client can arrange an alternative.

How discrete is Great Networks?
We are a very discrete service. All our clients are more than aware of the level of discretion required.

When clients perform searches on the site the search results show them your: username, primary picture, headline, gender, age and general location. All your other private information is held on a secure database and is not accessible via the website. We will never send anything in the post to your private address all communication will be done via email to the email address associated to your account.

If you choose to leave the service we will delete ALL your details from our database.

How much money will I earn?
That depends on you, and how popular your account becomes, you will need to complete your profile in full and decide how many appointments you want to take on.

How much you could earn is up to you. We recommend that all our freelance workers charge around £160 / $300 per hour and advise you to take on at least a few bookings each week.

If you want to take on more bookings and build-up a good portfolio of clients the sky is the limit as to how much you can earn!

How much time will I need free?
We advise you start working freelance part-time, you only need a couple of hours per week. As you get more client bookings and become more established and learn how it works for you, you can take on more appointments as you please.

Some of our freelancers have given up their other jobs and now work freelance, full-time earning a very good income.

How do I get paid?
You will get paid directly by the client, in cash, on the day of meeting, or the client will deposit the money into an account, of your choice, in advance.

We do not take a percentage of your earnings, all the money you earn through bookings is your own. We do not handle any of the money.

How much does it cost?
We only charge for the online communication service we provide, from as little as £14.50 / $29.50 per month depending on which package you take.

You only start paying that once you have upgraded your account to gold membership. There are no other hidden charges. The gold membership you pay is to advertise your freelance services on the site.

How does the site work? What is free and what do I pay for?

  1. Create a FREE account with a picture on the site using the freelance worker registration form. Let people know what you are / aren't willing to do and add some information about yourself. This will be reviewed by a member of our team and you will be emailed when it has been accepted and made live on the site.Your profile can then be viewed by clients.

  2. Freelance workers must upgrade to one of our gold membership packages. Only once you have upgraded can you read messages from clients. We advise you to remain on the site for a minimum of 2-3 months to get yourself noticed.

  3. When a client contacts you, they will advise you of what they require, as well as the price they will pay you for your time. All this should be discussed in advance by the client and you before you decide to accept or reject the job. Both parties should keep each other informed, if you need to cancel or reject an appointment let the client know so they have time to book a new appointment. All private details like name address and contact numbers are always withheld unless you wish to reveal them yourself.


When a client performs a search for an freelance worker they see:
    - Freelance worker username
    - A list of what you are prepared and not prepared to do
    - What area you are from
    - A little about yourself
    - Your photograph

Please note: Only gold members can display contact numbers in the 'about me' section of their profile, which is on display at all times.
